Meet Dr. Anna Shieh
Dr. Anna comes from a family of dentists. As a third generation dentist, this field was a natural choice for her. She has always enjoyed seeing the difference her family made in the lives of their patients, and learning from their experiences as dentists has been invaluable. For Dr. Anna, dentistry is not something that limits itself to the office; it’s a huge part of her life. Before coming to Milton, Dr. Anna practiced in Mississauga for over 6 years.
Dr. Anna loves working with her hands to create beautiful smiles. It is very satisfying for her when patients are happy with their treatments, and she feels most rewarded when patients tell her they have always had a fear of the dentist, but they are so comfortable in her care that they are not anxious anymore. Being an educator and partner with them in achieving their best dental health has been an unforgettable experience for her.
The connection that Dr. Anna and her team make with people on a day-to-day basis makes coming in to work an enjoyable experience. Her team is exceptional because they are energetic, compassionate, warm, and friendly, and they always strive to do their best in serving patients.
Education and affiliations
Dr. Anna obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1995 from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India where she also completed her residency. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2004.

Personal life
Dr. Anna was born and raised in India, and currently resides in Milton, Ontario. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, music, movies, and travelling. She enjoys living life fully and appreciates its simple pleasures.
